ZARÄ°DÄ°NEX 0.3 % (Ofloxacin)

Pharmacotherapeutic group: Kinolone

Usage:

ZARÄ°DÄ°NEX is indicated for the treatment of infections such as; conjunctivitis, infected corneal ulcers, blepharitis, tarsitis and bycs.

 

The usual dose is 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye every 2 to 4 hours for the first 2 days and then 1-2 drops 4 times a day since then.

Remove your contact lenses before using ZARÄ°DÄ°NEX. You can put on your lenses 15 minutes after administration.

 

CAREFUL! Normally you should not wear contact lenses while you are being treated with this bar. However, there may be situations where the use of contact lenses is unavoidable. In these situations, remove the lenses before using ZARÄ°DÄ°NEX. Wait at least 15 minutes after using eye drops before putting on your contact lenses.

A preservative of ZARÄ°DÄ°NEX (benzalkonium chloride) can cause eye irritation and is also known to whiten soft contact lenses.

Ketoftil 0.5 mg / ml monodose and multidose

Ketoftil is used to treat acute and chronic allergic inflammation (spring, atopic and others) of the eyes such as:

  • Conjunctivitis

  • keratoconjunctivitis

Usage:

The recommended dose is 1 drop in the conjunctival sac 2 or more times a day.

CAREFUL! Ketoftil multidose contains benzalkonium chloride

This herb contains 1 mg benzalkonium chloride valid at 0.1 mg / ml.

Benzalkonium chloride can be absorbed by soft contact lenses and can lead to discoloration. Remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before resetting.

Benzalkonium chloride can also cause eye irritation, especially when you have dry eyes or suffer from corneal disorders.

Note: Ketoftil monodose does not contain benzalkonium chloride.
